About Me...
Hello my name is Terina McGuire, I am a qualified counsellor working and living in Devizes in Wiltshire. I have had individual membership of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy since 1999 and have been working as Counsellor from this time.
I have a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and a BSc Hons Degree in Psychology. (Other training as listed below)
I have worked for the Bereavement Service in Essex, Mind in Essex, Social Services in Devizes, Family Mediation (North Wiltshire) Sycamore Pregnancy Crisis Centre and various organisations and individuals via the training and workshops I write and present. I also continue to carry out local voluntary counselling / work. Before my counselling/Psychology training I worked in various different jobs inc: Commodity Brokers, Financial Services, Health Club and Motor Bike Shop!
I have had a challenging life going through many areas of difficulty, this I feel enriches my work and enables me to have had real life experience rather than just learning from a book!
Above all else, I find my counselling work extremely rewarding, and feel inspired by all the people I have had the privilege to work with.
